Are you thinking about Thanksgiving yet? When we moved to Florida eleven years ago, I knew one thing we would all miss was big holiday get-togethers.
My family is still in Maryland, and my husband's family is spread out across the country. We do our best to have Thanksgiving together every couple of years, but it's hard to make it happen!
I love to cook for Thanksgiving, with the Macy's Day Parade on in the background. I make Mom's Thanksgiving stuffing recipe with biscuits and always make extra for breakfast, just like my mom did.
If your mom is still living, call her today. I lost my mom last year and I wish I could call her.
We always have at least two desserts. I don't know why, because we certainly aren't hungry! We have to have a pumpkin pie and something non-traditional, like this Sacher Torte Chocolate Cake.
